The 3rd Europe Asia Young Leaders Forum took place in Beijing.

Located in the immediate vicinity of the city centre, the St. Regis hotel is pervaded by the big-city ambience of the capital, whilst at the same time offering plenty of possibilities to withdraw for a focused conference atmosphere.

The remaining locations were above all meant to give an impression of the new, diverse shape of the Chinese capital.

For the "Networking in Nature" programme, a suitable venue was found in the “Commune by the Great Wall” outside of Beijing. There, in a hilly country at the foot of the Great Wall, renowned Asian architects have realised their visions of contemporary buildings in harmony with the natural environment.

An expression of the contemporary art scene is the 798 factory complex, which in recent years has become home to a variety of art galleries, artists’ studios, bars and popular restaurants. There the Foundation held the concluding dinner of the conference.
